About Us:Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Trading Vice President to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving project success and enhancing communication across various workstreams.

Role Overview:As the Fixed Income Trading Vice President, you will lead project communications to ensure alignment and timely deliveries per the project plan. You will also escalate any issues to the project management team that may impede progress. Your responsibilities will include creating and documenting detailed project deliverables such as Target Operating Models (TOM), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and required Policies, Procedures, and Manuals (PPM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring consensus on optimal solutions and implementing changes within set timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the bank's technology partners to ensure accurate and timely reflexion of market and regulatory changes.
  • Document processes and system changes required for introducing changes while ensuring correct governance throughout the change process.
  • Provide clear communication to senior stakeholders, including MD-level executives, regarding the potential impact of changes on services, functions, or systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Profound knowledge of front-to-back processing of Sales and Trading business is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in teams.
  • Proficiency in producing gap analysis, workflows, and high-quality business requirement documents.

Specialist Skills:

  • Expertise in banking products and experience in business process analysis and requirements documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and processes and make evidence-based recommendations.

Challenges:

  • Educating stakeholders about regulatory requirements and their implications for products, processes, and systems.
  • Working with existing infrastructure that may lack comprehensive documentation.
