Job Title: Personal Tax Manager

Location: London Office, W1F

Salary: Up to £80,000!

Are you a qualified tax professional looking for an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the entertainment sector? My client are a prestigious boutique firm in London that are seeking a talented Personal Tax Manager to join their fast-paced, collaborative team.

Working directly alongside the Partners, you'll have the unique opportunity to manage fascinating clients while developing your career in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing -

Client Portfolio Management:

  • Take ownership of your designated client portfolio, ensuring seamless UK tax compliance
  • Guide clients through their tax obligations and keep them informed of critical deadlines
  • Handle client communications and coordinate with our Accounts, Business Management, and Payroll teams

Technical Excellence:

  • Prepare complex UK tax returns with precision and attention to detail
  • Analyze financial information and clearly communicate tax implications to clients and senior management
  • Review and draft initial tax advisory work, supporting management on complex matters

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Review team output and help manage workflow and deadlines
  • Participate in internal technical training sessions to stay current with legislation

Who am I looking for?

Professional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of personal tax experience, particularly with Owner Managed Businesses
  • ATT and CTA qualified, or actively pursuing these qualifications (they can provide full study support)

Core Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude with genuine interest in tax legislation and research
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and client service orientation
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
