We have worked closely with this award-winning boutique Wealth Management firm for the last 5 years, placing the majority of the staff within the business. They have grown organically in this time; due to the number of referrals and recommendations they get from existing clients. The MD is a very charismatic maverick within the industry, and has contributed to both TV and radio programs, talking about their very client centric, non-jargon version of Financial Advice.
As a result of winning more new clients, they are looking for a Paraplanner to join their close-knit team and directly support two of the most experienced Advisers in the firm. You will be providing end to end Paraplanning support, which will include attending client meetings, conducting product research and fund switches along with cashflow modelling. Once you have become family with their systems and processes you will be given the opportunity to build on your Paraplanning experience and take an active part in the annual review process for lower value clients.
If you want to work for a firm that is incredibly ethical, genuinely sees clients as individuals and not just a commodity to make money on, then this would be an excellent career move into a more client centric Paraplanning position. My client works very closely within the local community, providing chairtable support from some of the profits of the business and is in the ebviable position of having such a strong reputation with their clients, that they do not have to do any new business development.
As personality and client care are more important than qualifications, my client will look at anyone with circa 18months of Paraplanning experience, where they have been writing suitability reports, but might not necessarily have sat many or any of the RO exams to gain their diploma. Full study support will be offered, but there is no requirement to complete your level 4 diploma qualification.
