Zachary Daniels are supporting a fashion retailer in the appointment of an Import Administrator. Are you a detail-driven logistics professional with a knack for managing import operations? My client are a well-established clothing business looking for an experienced Import Administrator to take the lead on all customs and import processes across the group of companies.

You'll be part of a vibrant and fast-paced warehouse team, playing a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant international shipping operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, dynamic environment where your skills will make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Oversee and manage import shipments via road, air, and sea, resolving any issues swiftly

  • Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure accurate and timely documentation

  • Ensure compliance with UK and international trade regulations

  • Respond to customs queries and handle duties and taxes accurately

  • Communicate shipment updates clearly across internal teams

  • Schedule and coordinate inbound deliveries to the distribution centre

  • Maintain precise records and input data into the warehouse management system

What You Bring:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing international shipments

  • Solid knowledge of customs documentation and import procedures

  • Proficiency with Excel and warehouse systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

  • Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
