Role Overview – Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire a lifelong love for learning, tailored to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
• Develop strong early literacy and numeracy skills, using innovative and effective teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that provides a safe and supportive space for every child to thrive, building both academic and personal confidence.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using formative assessments to adjust your teaching and ensure all children reach their full potential.
• Support the social, emotional, and personal development of your pupils, fostering independence, resilience, and a sense of responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure the success of every pupil and strengthen the sense of community within the school.

Who We Are Looking For – Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher with UK QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• Passionate about early childhood education, with a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and an ability to make learning fun, dynamic, and meaningful.
• Skilled in delivering phonics instruction and experienced in using differentiated teaching methods to meet the needs of a diverse classroom.
