Administration plays a crucial role in the day-to-day life of an education department for the Offender Learning Sector by providing a wide range of administrative support to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
Day-to-day of the role:- Serve as the first point of contact for the team, addressing both routine and specialist enquiries.
- Communicate relevant information promptly to specific departments.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and ensure they are accurately passed on to the relevant person or team.
- Undertake general administrative duties including managing correspondence and maintaining records.
- Understand customers’ needs and build your own portfolio of customers, guiding them through the required processes.
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle enquiries effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software like MS Office and administrative systems.
