REED Practice are pleased to be recruiting for a great Audit and Accounts Senior. This role is ideal for someone with significant audit experience, capable of planning, performing, and finalising audits, and adept at managing and developing junior team members.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, perform, and finalise audits across a variety of sectors.
  • Allocate and oversee tasks assigned to junior team members.
  • Prepare year-end accounts, statutory audits, management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax.
  • Ensure compliance with current reporting standards (FRS102/105).
  • Engage in the preparation of corporation tax returns and potentially handle accounts for charities and/or LLPs.
  • Maintain direct client interactions, ensuring professional communication and service at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in preparing statutory and management accounts.
  • Proficient knowledge of reporting standards FRS102/105.
  • Experience in preparing corporation tax returns.
  • ACA/ACCA qualification is ideal, though candidates still undergoing certification may be considered with potential study support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff is highly desirable.
