An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and passionate PE Teacher to join our client, a thriving secondary school in Islington, on a full-time basis starting immediately.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Confidently deliver and assess BTEC Sport qualifications.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring high standards of achievement and progression.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and sports clubs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching PE, including delivering BTEC Sport qualifications.
- A passion for sports education and encouraging active lifestyles.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Person Specification:
- Enthusiastic and dynamic with a genuine passion for Physical Education.
- Skilled at working collaboratively with colleagues and engaging effectively with parents and carers.
- Committed to ensuring all students achieve their best, regardless of background.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel both in practical and theoretical aspects of PE.
