- Lead CRO Strategy: You’ll take charge of optimizing websites for multiple clients, using a strategic approach to develop and execute conversion rate optimization roadmaps. You’ll work across different sectors, meaning you’ll need to adapt your approach to fit the specific goals and challenges of each client.
- A/B and Multivariate Testing: You’ll design, run, and evaluate tests using platforms like Optimizely, VWO, Piano, or Zephr. Your goal will be to identify areas for improvement in user experience and conversion, experimenting with different variations to increase results.
- Data Interpretation: Using tools like GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Adobe Analytics, you'll analyze data from tests to extract meaningful insights. Your ability to translate data into actionable recommendations will be key to improving conversion rates.
- Collaborative Execution: You'll collaborate with front-end developers, UX designers, and strategists to implement tests and optimize web pages. Ensuring a seamless collaboration between the technical and creative teams will be important for successful experimentation.
- Team Leadership: As a CRO Manager, you’ll coach and mentor a growing team of CRO professionals. This will involve helping them refine their skills and contribute to shaping the future of the agency’s optimization strategies.

This CRO (Conversion Optimisation) Manager’s required qualifications are:
- 3+ years’ experience in CRO/UX Optimization: Ideally, you’ve worked on the agency side, which would give you exposure to multiple clients and industries. You should have hands-on experience in creating and executing conversion strategies.
- Experience with Testing Platforms: Familiarity with Optimizely, VWO, Piano, or Zephr is essential, as you’ll be using these tools to create experiments and improve websites.
- Proficiency with Data Tools: GA4 is a must-have, but experience with other analytics platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Adobe Analytics is also valuable. You’ll need to extract insights from data to inform decisions.
- Analytical Skills: The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, with a deep understanding of statistics and experimentation principles. You’ll need to be comfortable working with data to guide decisions.
- Strong Communication & Client Handling Skills: You’ll be interacting with clients, so you must be able to clearly communicate complex data insights and optimization strategies in a way that is understandable and actionable for them.
