Our client, a prominent entity in the Beauty sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to join their centralised London team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing end-to-end demand planning processes
- Collaborating closely with the procurement team to align demand and supply
- Analysing sales and inventory data to forecast demand accurately
- Implementing and launching the new ERP system, while transitioning from spreadsheet reliance
- Supporting the Head of Operations & Supply Chain to streamline processes
- Contributing to the expansion in both UK and US markets, particularly with M&S, Boots, and more.
- Providing insights and recommendations on product demand trends, especially in the growing fragrance category
- Participating in restructuring efforts within the business context
- Proven experience in demand planning, preferably within the beauty industry
- Understanding of procurement processes and timings
- Proficiency in data analysis, particularly with sales and inventory data
- Experience with ERP systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team with no direct reports
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work 3 days/week in the London office, with some flexibility on days including Fridays
- Relevant accreditations in demand planning or supply chain management are desirable
