EIA Consultant - London

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be representing a respected planning and environmental consultancy in their search for an EIA Consultant to join their London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established practice with an impressive portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure sectors. You'll be working alongside a team of highly experienced planners, environmental specialists, and technical experts, contributing to a variety of exciting and high-profile schemes.

The Role
As an EIA Consultant, you will:

  • Coordinate and manage Environmental Impact Assessments across a range of sectors

  • Prepare Environmental Statements and Screening/Scoping Reports

  • Liaise with local authorities, statutory consultees, and stakeholders

  • Support planning teams with environmental and sustainability advice

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across planning, transport, and design disciplines

About You

  • Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, or related discipline

  • Demonstrable experience in EIA coordination, ideally within consultancy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management and organisational ability

  • A proactive approach and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality work
