Graduate Acoustic Consultant - London - £25,000 to £30,000 + Full Training + Benefits

A leading UK-based Acoustics Consultancy is seeking a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in acoustics, working on a variety of projects in the built environment across residential, commercial, and cultural sectors.

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a related subject.

  • Strong interest in building or environmental acoustics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiarity with acoustic principles and relevant UK standards (e.g., BS4142, BS8233, BB93).

  • Awareness of noise modelling tools (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon) or measurement equipment.

  • Previous experience through internships, academic projects, or placements is advantageous.

The Role:You will support senior consultants in delivering acoustic assessments for planning, construction, and building design projects. The role includes site visits, data collection, modelling, analysis, and technical report writing. You will receive full training and support to develop your skills and work toward professional accreditation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with noise and vibration surveys and measurements.

  • Supporting acoustic modelling and impact assessments.

  • Preparing technical reports for planning and compliance.

  • Attending project meetings and site inspections as needed.

  • Developing knowledge of industry standards and software.
