Are you an experienced underwriting professional looking for a leadership role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We're searching for a Head of Underwriting Management to join our team and play a key role in shaping our underwriting governance and portfolio strategy.
Location: London
Office presence: 4 days a week
What you'll do:
- Oversee underwriting governance and risk management
- Manage underwriting authorities and delegated oversight
- Drive adherence to best-in-class governance frameworks
- Support business development and strategic portfolio analysis
- Lead and develop junior team members
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years' experience in the (re)insurance sector
- Strong underwriting governance or controls experience
- Multi-class experience, particularly in specialty lines and property RI
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach
