HR Assistant - Law Firm | London (Hybrid)
A leading international law firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join its London-based Human Resources team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their generalist HR experience within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
You'll play a key role in supporting both legal and business services teams across the UK, EU, and internationally. Your work will combine hands-on HR administration with direct business interaction, making this a varied and rewarding role.
Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a key point of contact for HR queries

Drafting employee correspondence (contracts, flexible working, performance, etc.)

Supporting processes around leavers, parental leave, and international secondments

Assisting in employee relations meetings and note-taking

Helping coordinate salary reviews and monthly payroll changes

Responding to HR Helpdesk queries

Contributing to projects such as policy reviews and system updates
Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Strong time management and ability to prioritise under pressure

Comfortable with Excel and HR systems

Previous HR admin experience, ideally within a professional services environment

Degree-level education (or equivalent experience)
