Newly Qualified Architect

Location: London

Salary: 30-36,000 (DOE)

A creative, design-led architectural practice based in London is seeking a talented Newly Qualified Architect to join its growing team. The studio works across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, developing thoughtful and well-resolved design solutions from concept through planning and delivery. The practice fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where architectural quality, technical knowledge and professional development are highly valued. The Newly Qualified Architect will play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural work across a varied project portfolio. Reporting to senior architects and directors, the successful candidate will be involved in all stages of project delivery with an emphasis on design development, coordination, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to architectural design across RIBA stages 2-4, from concept development through technical design.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, presentations, and design documentation to a high standard.
  • Develop planning submissions, feasibility studies, and design reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants throughout project phases.
  • Support project delivery including detailing, specification, and client liaison.
  • Maintain design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile

  • ARB registered architect or RIBA Part III qualified.
  • Strong design ability with clear conceptual thinking and excellent visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential, with complementary skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite advantageous.
  • Good understanding of UK planning processes, building regulations and construction detailing.
  • A collaborative team player with strong organisational and communication skills.
