We are looking for an experienced and confident manager to fulfil the role of Night Operations Manager. The purpose of this role is to take ownership of the success and smooth operation of our Night Teams, including both Dedicated Services and Logistics.
This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and manage teams effectively, while also being hands-on and actively involved in the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example, balancing operational leadership with direct participation in team activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for two teams: Dedicated Services & Logistics
Conduct thorough handovers between day and night teams
Run nightly scrum meetings and delegate tasks accordingly
Identify and solve operational problems quickly
Train new personnel alongside supervisors and cover shifts as needed
Work alongside the team to uphold quality and service standards
Use (url removed) for communication, reporting errors, requesting adjustments, and coordinating with other departments
Act as the first point of contact for team queries during the night
Place product orders through internal systems
Restock and maintain consumables to ensure freshness and availability
Ensure proper display of confectionery and fresh fruit per client standards
Maintain cleanliness across work areas, kitchens, fridges, and coffee machines
Conduct regular audits and quality checks at client sites
Build and manage staff rotas for night drivers and Dedicated Services
Oversee BrightHR administration (e.g. clock-ins, absences)
Lead performance and probation reviews
Submit detailed end-of-shift reports
Provide cover for sick leave and holidays as required
Travel across client sites in Central London during night hours
