The role:

To lead the deployment and enhancement of Triparty Repos within Fixed Income, support the integration of Repo and Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) product lifecycle, and provide expertise in secured funding and repo products.

Responsibilities:

  • Critical for successful deployment of Triparty Repos across Fixed Income.
  • Part of the IT Fixed Income Product Team with a focus on the Repo product.
  • Possess Secured Funding knowledge and SME coverage of the full repo product suite as well as SBL's.
  • Lead detailed analysis of the Triparty Repo requirements.
  • Liaise with the Development team on the technical specifications of these requirements.
  • Support the QA team with UAT and Business engagement for sign-off.
  • Familiarity with settlement processing and SFTR requirements relating to Repo transactions.
  • Coordinate front to back project requirements including operations, collateral management, risk management, and settlement functions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on a repo ION Anvil platform implementation or similar Repo execution platform.
  • General understanding of the Fixed Income business.
  • Strong understanding of trading financing transactions across GMRA, GMSLA, and TRS.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Securities Lending business.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and the securities lending industry.
  • Experience in a Middle Office or Front Office Fixed Income role preferred.
  • Experience in Senior Business Analyst/Project Management roles within an investment banking organization.
  • Demonstrated experience creating business/technical requirements and specification documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience handling communications at all levels across the business, including dealing with high-level stakeholders in a financial environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
