Senior Sous Chef £40k£45k

Hours: 48 per week (flexible)
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Sous Chef with STRONG MANAGEMENT SKILLS(essential) to join a vibrant, multi-space venue in East London.
This new role supports the Head Chef in developing the team, menus, and kitchen operations.
What Youll Do:
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations across all areas.
Develop seasonal, low-waste menus using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients.
Manage stock, suppliers, and ordering with a focus on sustainability.
Mentor and train junior chefs.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior or strong Sous Chef in a seasonal, high-quality kitchen.
Expertise in nose-to-tail butchery, head-to-tail fish preparation, pastry, pickling/preserving, and in-house bread/baking.
Passion for seasonal ingredients, sustainability, and creativity in menu development.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
