- Responding to requests from Customer Service, Water Quality, and Regulatory Response teams, you will ensure that Water Quality Technicians address customer complaints, customer inquiries, and technical inquiries promptly.
- Delivering exceptional customer service with an enthusiastic and positive approach, taking accountability for your role while working accurately and flexibly within a busy team.
- Travelling when needed: As a member of the sampling management team, you may be required to visit other sites to work with colleagues across Thames Water’s operational area.
- Becoming an expert in understanding the fieldwork carried out and being able to provide support to field operatives when needed.
- A strong understanding of clean water regulations and statutory sampling programs would be advantageous. A scientific background is also desirable.
- The ability to take ownership of customer queries, a curiosity to fully understand the query, and the skills to identify the best solution to resolve it the first time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both internal and external customers. A background in customer service would be helpful for this role.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure to meet demanding targets.
- Proficiency in IT and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Willingness to take part in the out-of-hours rota.
- A UK driving licence is required.
- Salary from £36,240 to £54,360 per annum.
