Arthur is partnered with a Lloyds Insurance company who is hiring an Underwriting Operations Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Head of Underwriting Operations, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations team, ensuring the seamless delivery of underwriting processes, and driving key initiatives for data quality and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Operations Analysts at various levels.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success.
  • Oversee USM/SCM processing, including event coding.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and governance across operations.
  • Manage outsourcing for data entry to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle commission processing within the internal broker function.
  • Manage the Policy Administration System (PAS), including underwriter support, training, and documentation.
  • Contribute to critical projects such as enhancing data quality and implementing controls.
  • Supporting upgrades to the Policy Administration System (PAS).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in underwriting operations or a similar field, with experience in managing and mentoring teams to achieve outstanding results.  They will bring expertise in operational processes, emphasising data quality and governance, and possess advanced project management skills that enable them to support system upgrades and implement effective controls.This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and innovative team, with the chance to lead and shape impactful operational projects.
