US UK Tax ManagerA well established US tax team within a boutique practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced US/UK Tax Manager to join their team in London.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both US and UK tax regulations and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all tax-related activities for clients.This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex tax issues.This role involves managing and overseeing all tax-related activities for high-net-worth individuals and families, ensuring compliance and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all US and UK tax compliance and reporting requirements for private clients.
  • Prepare and review specific US tax returns for US/UK clients, including Forms 1040, 1040NR, 3520, 3520-A, 5471, and 8938.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and other tax-related documents for private clients.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits and enquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting private clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions tailored to private clients.
  • Mentor and train junior tax staff in private client tax matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, EA, ATT) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in US and UK private client tax.
  • Strong knowledge of US and UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
