Womenswear Designer - London

Contemporary womenswear brand is looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Womenswear Designer to join their expanding Design team. As the brand continues to grow, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the brand, working across RTW, tailoring, eveningwear, and emerging categories.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Design Manager, and wider team, contributing to every stage of the design process - from initial concept through to final sample. You will take ownership of key product categories, with a primary focus on tailoring and separates, while also supporting the creative direction of the full collection.

·      Lead the design and development of key categories within the collection, from initial concept through to SMS stage.

·      Create innovative, commercially viable designs that align with seasonal direction and support the brand’s ongoing growth and evolution.

·      Own specific product categories - particularly tailoring and separates - ensuring they complement and elevate the overall collection.

·      Partner with the Creative Director, Design Manager, and wider design team to research, develop, and refine seasonal concepts.

·      Conduct forward-thinking research to drive inspiration across creative direction, fabric, trims, and style development.

·      Collaborate closely with Product Development and Technical teams to deliver designs to the highest creative and commercial standards.

·      Produce precise and visually impactful designs using Adobe Creative Suite, with strong proficiency in Photoshop.

·      Review sales data and customer insights to shape future collections and ensure market relevance.

·      Mentor, motivate, and inspire junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team culture.
