?? The Role - Year 2 Class Teacher

The successful Year 2 Class Teacher will lead a class of engaged and enthusiastic learners through their final year in Key Stage 1. As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting and purposeful lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, with a particular focus on consolidating Phonics, reading, and writing skills in preparation for KS2.

This school is seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher with strong classroom management skills, a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum, and a genuine passion for teaching. The ideal Year 2 Class Teacher will be reflective, proactive, and committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have recent experience working as a Year 2 Class Teacher
