Job Title: Data Specialist

Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Specialist to manage, analyze, and maintain data across enterprise systems. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility while supporting business intelligence, reporting, and decision-making processes. The Data Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management practices with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, validate, and maintain large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across databases and systems.

  • Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business insights.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements.

  • Monitor data pipelines and resolve data quality or processing issues.

  • Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies.

  • Contribute to process improvements in data management and reporting workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in data management, data analysis, or related roles.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).

  • Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.

  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).

  • Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation.

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise IT environments.
