About the Humanities Teacher Position

We are seeking an outstandingHumanities Teacherto join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range ofHumanitiessubjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Citizenship.

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiatedHumanitieslessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
• Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to exploreHumanitiessubjects and develop their critical thinking skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress inHumanities, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of theHumanitiescurriculum and departmental resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofHumanitiesteaching.

The Ideal Humanities Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in aHumanitiessubject or a related field.
• Experience teachingHumanitiesat the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forHumanitiessubjects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion forHumanitiesand a commitment to inspiring students.
