About the Humanities Teacher Position
We are seeking an outstandingHumanities Teacherto join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range ofHumanitiessubjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Citizenship.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiatedHumanitieslessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to exploreHumanitiessubjects and develop their critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress inHumanities, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of theHumanitiescurriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofHumanitiesteaching.
The Ideal Humanities Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in aHumanitiessubject or a related field.
- Experience teachingHumanitiesat the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forHumanitiessubjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
