About the Physics Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicatedPhysics Teacherto join our thriving Science department. The successfulPhysics Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachPhysicsacross Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the subject.
Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-qualityPhysicslessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explorePhysicsconcepts and develop their scientific skills.
- Teach a variety ofPhysicstopics, ensuring students gain a solid foundation in the subject.
- Assess and monitor student progress inPhysics, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of thePhysicscurriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofPhysicsteaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree inPhysicsor a related field.
- Experience teachingPhysicsat the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forPhysics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
