About the Physics Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicatedPhysics Teacherto join our thriving Science department. The successfulPhysics Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachPhysicsacross Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-qualityPhysicslessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explorePhysicsconcepts and develop their scientific skills.
• Teach a variety ofPhysicstopics, ensuring students gain a solid foundation in the subject.
• Assess and monitor student progress inPhysics, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of thePhysicscurriculum and departmental resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofPhysicsteaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree inPhysicsor a related field.
• Experience teachingPhysicsat the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forPhysics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion forPhysicsand a commitment to inspiring students.
