German Gymnasium was originally designed as the first purpose-built gym in England, and used by the German Gymnastics team for the 1864 Olympics. Now a Grade II listed building, German Gymnasium, is conveniently situated in the heart of vibrant Kings Cross. Serving an all-day grand café style menu across the ground floor and vast terraces, for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. With a nod to its heritage the menu reflects a Germanic influence. The restaurant on the upper floor has its own spectacular bar and semi-private dining room with views of the award-winning interior to match.

We're looking for a dynamic and customer-centric Assistant General Manager to join ourGerman GymnasiuminKings Cross. This pivotal role calls for a passionate leader who prioritizes guest satisfaction and fosters a positive team environment, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. While an understanding of financial management is required, your primary focus will be on nurturing our team members, optimizing service standards, and cultivating a culture of excellence. As a key support to the General Manager, you'll assist in implementing strategies for growth and success. We're seeking ambitious candidates hungry for growth, with aspirations to eventually step into the role of General Manager and lead our team to new heights of achievement.
