We are supporting a renowned premium London restaurant group with two distinctive concepts, one refined, design-led dining brand and one vibrant, high-energy casual concept as they recruit an exceptional Assistant General Manager to join their leadership team.
This is an opportunity for a proven AGM who thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and wants to contribute to the growth of two of Londons most exciting hospitality brands.
The Role:As Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, team performance, culture, and operational standards. Youll work closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining strong commercial focus.
The ideal candidate will be confident, guest-obsessed, people-centred, and able to adapt their leadership style across two distinctive concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Support the GM in day-to-day operations across a high-volume, high-quality environment
- Lead, motivate, and develop FOH teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Ensure consistent service standards aligned with each brands personality and identity
- Drive operational efficiency, floor management, and service flow
- Maintain excellence in reservation management, table turn strategy, and guest retention
- Play a key role in training, onboarding, and ongoing team development
- Manage daily financial controls, stock, labour, and cost management
- Uphold compliance, health & safety, and operational policies
- Support launches, events, and activations across both brands
- Be a cultural leader present, visible, and passionate about hospitality
- Proven experience as an AGM, Senior Duty Manager, or FOH leader in premium London hospitality
- Strong service DNA with genuine warmth and guest-first mentality
- Ability to lead and inspire teams in both refined and high-energy dining environments
- Excellent communication, floor presence, and people management skills
- Commercial acumen with experience managing labour, revenue, and operational KPIs
- Calm and confident under pressure, able to adapt to fast-changing environments
- Passion for hospitality, food culture, and delivering memorable experiences
- Up to £55,000 salary
