Were looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our team at Amazing Grace one of London Bridges most exciting live music venues.

This is a hands-on role in a high-energy, high-volume environment where no two days are the same. Youll need at least 3 years of bar experience in a busy venue, a love for great hospitality, and the ability to connect with guests and team members alike.

What youll be doing:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the venue and managing events across our large, multi-faceted site.

- Delivering budgeted top-line sales and ensuring profitability through tight stock control and cost management.

- Leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve excellence in service and performance.

- Collaborating with the management team to deliver safe, profitable large-scale event days.

- Designing and implementing sales incentives to drive performance.

- Monitoring and maintaining health & safety standards, including compliance with EHO requirements for all bar areas.

- Sourcing suppliers for best value and identifying operational efficiencies.

- Creating a positive, engaging work environment and strong team culture.

- Managing and overseeing all bar operations, both day-to-day and for major events.

- Handling training, staffing, and scheduling to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

What were looking for:

- Proven senior management experience in a high-volume bar, ideally across multiple sites.

- Strong track record in delivering sales targets and managing budgets.

- Excellent stock control and cost management skills.

- Experience in designing and delivering sales incentives.

- Knowledge of health & safety standards and EHO compliance in a bar environment.

- Skilled in managing and delivering large-scale events.

- Experience in staff training, motivation, and development.

- A confident, approachable leader who thrives under pressure and leads by example.
