We are now seeking an inspiring and highly capable Assistant General Manager to support our leadership team and contribute to the continued success of our restaurant.

As Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth daily running of the restaurant, maintaining high service standards and a cohesive, driven team. Youll be instrumental in mentoring staff, driving operational consistency, and delivering on both financial and experiential goals. This is a hands-on leadership role with real opportunity for growth within a dynamic, progressive hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.
Maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring memorable and seamless dining experiences.
Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth communication between front and back of house.
Contribute to financial performance through cost control, upselling strategies, and team productivity.
Champion Roes ethos of sustainability, seasonality, and innovation in every aspect of the operation.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.

About You:

Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
A natural leader with excellent communication and team development skills.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and financial KPIs.
Calm under pressure, with great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Passionate about food, sustainability, and forward-thinking hospitality.
Energetic, hands-on, and always leading by example.
