DUO, renowned for its creative cocktails and diverse line-up of events, is now opening in Clapham. The venue will host a wide range of nightlife events, corporate functions, and operate a busy bar, making it one of the most exciting new spots in the area.
We are looking for a hardworking and committed Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the venue and play a key role in building DUO Clapham into a top-level destination for nightlife, cocktails, and events.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and organising the setup and daily operations of the bar
Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, ensuring high standards of performance and service
Leading and motivating the team to deliver a great customer experience
Handling cash management, including cashing up at the end of shifts
Coordinating staff rotas and ensuring appropriate cover for all events and shifts
Working closely with promoters and the events team to deliver nightlife and corporate events successfully
Maintaining health, safety, and licensing compliance at all times
Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and controlling costs efficiently
Driving standards across service, operations, and atmosphere to position DUO Clapham as a leading venue in the area
Supporting the marketing and promotions team to grow attendance, increase visibility, and build a strong reputation in Claphams nightlife scene
Building strong relationships with promoters, DJs, entertainers, and corporate clients to maximise bookings and event opportunities
Continuously improving venue operations and guest experience to ensure DUO stands out against competitors
We are looking for a candidate with proven management experience in bars, clubs, or hospitality venues, who is highly organised, confident under pressure, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Strong leadership skills, reliability, and the ability to work evenings and weekends are essential.
