We are recruiting experienced General Managers for two exciting hospitality concepts in central London. Both venues specialise in premium Asian cuisine and offer excellent opportunities for strong operators who can lead from the front, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and drive consistent operational performance.
Role 1: Grab-and-Go Japanese Concept
A fast-paced venue offering fresh sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes designed for quick service. Ideal for a manager experienced in high-volume takeaway, QSR, or fresh food retail environments. Efficiency, speed, and consistency are key.
Role 2: Busy High-End Restaurant
A contemporary, full-service dining venue with premium ingredients, refined service, and high volumes. Ideal for a manager who thrives on atmosphere, guest engagement, and leading large teams during peak service.
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles)
- Lead daily operations with a hands-on approach and strong floor presence
- Deliver consistent, guest-focused service standards
- Recruit, train, and motivate front-of-house teams
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and internal policies
- Monitor labour planning, stock control, waste management, and other KPIs
- Support rota planning, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Handle guest feedback calmly and professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards at all times
- Assist in local marketing activities and promotional initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a busy hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to perform under pressure during high-volume service periods
- Sound understanding of cost control, labour efficiency, and commercial KPIs
- Hands-on attitude with excellent people skills
- Experience within Asian cuisine or culture-driven concepts (preferred but not essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
