District Heating Engineer

Location: Southwark
Salary: 39,000 - 52,000 (DOE & workload)
Package: Company van with personal use, fuel card, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, excellent overtime and call-out rates

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled District Heating Engineer to join a well-established and growing team delivering high-quality heating and hot water services across Southwark. This is a local, mobile role with all jobs based within close proximity-typically just 10-20 minutes apart.

As a District Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading district heating and domestic hot water systems within residential properties, ensuring reliable service and consistently high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Radiator and radiator valve replacements
Diagnosing and resolving no heating and no hot water faults
Installation and replacement of hot water cylinders and unvented systems (G3 training available if required)
Replacement of 2-port and 3-port zone valves
Cleaning strainers and system components
General maintenance of district heating and hot water systems

Salary and Earning Potential

39,000 - 52,000 per annum, depending on experience and productivity
Daily rate equivalent: 155 - 200 per day
Overtime: 30 per additional job
Call-out rota: Thursday-Friday, 24-hour cover (7 days)
Excellent call-out remuneration
