About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in a mainstream primary school in Haringey. You will work with children in Years 3 to 6 who present behavioural needs and emotional dysregulation. Your day will blend one-to-one and small-group support, consistent routines and clear visuals such as Now and Next boards, social stories and the Zones of Regulation. You will implement de-escalation strategies, follow personalised behaviour plans and contribute to target tracking and reviews with the class teacher and the SENCo.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience supporting autistic pupils in Key Stage 2
Confident with behaviour support and de-escalation, and able to manage dysregulation safely
Knowledge of PECS, Makaton or TEACCH is welcomed
Team Teach or other positive handling training is advantageous but not essential
A calm, consistent and reflective practitioner who builds strong relationships quickly
