Business/Economics Teacher

An enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business/Economics Teacher is required for a temporary part-time position at a well-regarded Independent mixed school in Camden, commencing as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students with the principles of business and economics, developing their commercial awareness and analytical skills across Key Stages 4 and 5 (aged 14-18) within a supportive and academically focused environment in central London.

Responsibilities

• You will plan and deliver engaging Business and/or Economics lessons, fostering an understanding of business operations, marketing, finance, and economic principles.
• The role involves cultivating students' entrepreneurial spirit and their ability to analyse real-world business and economic scenarios.
• You will create a stimulating and interactive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore current affairs and develop their critical thinking about the commercial world.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field is essential.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Business and/or Economics lessons at Key Stages 4 and 5 is highly desirable.
• A deep and current understanding of business and economic concepts and contemporary issues is expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are vital.
