Economics Lecturer

- Salary Range: £36,000 - £55,000

Day to day of the role of a Economics Teacher :
- Teach A level courses to students 16+
- Prepare and deliver lessons that incorporate a range of teaching strategies and technologies.
- Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and related teaching methods.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications needed for the Economics Teacher role :
- Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering in a Further Education setting.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and maintain student interest
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
