Are you a dynamic Economics Teacher with a flair for inspiring future leaders and thinkers? We're thrilled to find a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding mixed school in Haringey, starting this June. This is an exceptional opportunity to delve into the principles of economics, shaping our students' commercial awareness and analytical skills across Key Stages 4 and 5 (aged 14-18) in North London.
What you'll be doing:
- You'll be designing and delivering captivating lessons inEconomics, covering everything from market forces to financial strategies.
- It's about sparking entrepreneurial spirit and honing students' ability to dissect real-world business and economic challenges.
- You'll cultivate a stimulating and interactive classroom where students feel empowered to discuss current affairs and develop their critical thinking about the commercial world.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Economics lessons at Key Stages 4 and 5 is highly desirable.
- A deep and current understanding of economic concepts, plus a keen awareness of contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are key.
