We are delighted to be working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the heart of Hammersmith, who are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a long-term position.

This small, community-focused school where staff truly get to know each child and their families, creating a warm, supportive environment that allows each pupil to flourish. The school is especially proud of its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which lays strong foundations for learning in a creative, engaging, and caring setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, planned lessons and activities
  • Lead small group sessions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy to boost pupils progress
  • Provide a personalised support for individual pupils, including those with SEND
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships to support pupils SEMH needs
  • Promote a calm, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere
  • Observe and report on pupil progress and behaviour to the class teacher or SENCO
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and carers as part of the school community
  • Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Childcare and/or Education
  • Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
  • Previous or current experience working with children in a school setting


The pay range advertised is based on employment through an umbrella company.
