Are you a passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, with a specialism in German and/or Spanish, eager to share your love for language and culture with young men? We're looking for a fantastic permanent, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding boys' school in Islington this September. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a real appreciation for languages and their rich cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5, right here in central London.
What you'll be doing:
- You'll plan and deliver engaging German and/or Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, tailored for boys.
- The role involves fostering an appreciation for European cultures and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the languages.
- You'll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in German and/or Spanish.
- Native or near-native fluency in German and/or Spanish is, of course, essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for boys is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
