Role: One-to-One Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich - nearest station Blackheath
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Daily Rate: 85-105 per day

A supportive primary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to join their team from 6th October. The successful candidate will provide personalised support for a pupil with additional learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress both academically and socially.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and proactive One-to-One Teaching Assistant who is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping children thrive in a mainstream classroom.

• Provide tailored one-to-one support for a pupil with additional learning needs.

• Adapt activities and resources to meet the child's individual learning targets.

• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies.

• Support the child's wellbeing and social development.

• Previous experience as a One-to-One Teaching Assistant or similar role.

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
