• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils to help them reach their full potential.

• Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

• Support pupils with early literacy, numeracy, and social development.

• Contribute to behaviour management and classroom organisation.

• A welcoming and inclusive primary school located in Islington.

• Committed to providing high-quality education and nurturing children’s wellbeing.

• Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on staff development and progression.

• Excellent facilities and easily accessible via public transport.

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school (KS1 preferred).

• A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding of how to support early learning, including phonics and numeracy.

• Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.

• Supportive, collaborative, and caring team environment.
