Our client are a well known fashion brand who are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of People to join them for a 9/12 month fixed term contract.
As the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading the talent strategies and programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent to drive the company's growth and success. You will lead the business partnering team to ensure that People goals and strategies are aligned with those of the business. This role involves designing and implementing organisational structures that enhance efficiency, support business growth, and drive cultural and operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Partnering: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business partners. Act as a trusted advisor to directors, department heads and senior management. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives• Change Management Support: Facilitate the change process by advising and guiding on organisational structure, identifying potential impacts, and developing effective communication strategies.• Organisational Design: Assist in implementing organisational changes by assessing team structures, roles, and responsibilities, supporting leadership to align people resources effectively.• Employee Relations: Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and appeals in line with company policy, providing expert guidance to managers on best practices.• HR Metrics & Performance Measurement: Use HR analytics and workforce data to drive decision-making and measure impact
• Talent Development: Partner with senior leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent Drive leadership development initiatives to enhance organisational capability
Key Requirements:
Candidates should ideally have experience gained within retail, hospitality or a similar industry and should have:
• Proven background in a dynamic environment with an understanding of the commercial landscape.• Change Management Expertise: Solid experience in HR change management, especially within restructuring or transformation initiatives.
• Employee Relations Knowledge: Skilled in handling complex employee relations issues, including redundancies, grievances, and appeals.• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.• Commercial Acumen: Ability to approach HR challenges with a commercial perspective, aligning solutions with business objectives.
