Person Specification:

To be considered for this position, you must hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification and bring recent and in depth experience from a telecoms or software business. You will also need strong international exposure, particularly within the US and China.

About the Role

This position offers wide-ranging HR responsibilities, from creating policy to nurturing employee engagement. A central part of the role involves partnering closely with the CEO to align HR direction with wider business goals. You will lead transformation and change initiatives and contribute to long-term strategic planning. As a member of the senior leadership team, you’ll work alongside key stakeholders to influence and support the organisation’s future direction. The role is fully remote with occasional travel overseas.

Duties will include:

• Designing and executing HR strategies that support organisational aims

• Collaborating with the CEO to steer strategic HR initiatives and change programmes

• Managing and mentoring a small team of HR professionals across regions

• Ensuring legal compliance and policy adherence across global jurisdictions

• Driving effective talent attraction, retention, and development strategies

• Overseeing performance and compensation processes, and gathering employee feedback

• Leading transformation projects and cultural change programmes

• Providing expert guidance on complex ER cases, including mediation and disciplinary issues

• Managing onboarding processes, contract administration and recruitment activity
