We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day HR activities. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in HR, preferably within the property industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating HR policies, managing employee relations, and leading recruitment efforts.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage operational HR activities including updating the company's HR system and handling employee relations.
  • Review and update HR policies, create new policies as needed, and provide guidance on these policies and procedures to all staff.
  • Conduct investigation meetings, disciplinary hearings, and prepare outcome letters.
  • Monitor employee performance during probation periods and manage probation extensions if necessary.
  • Track employee absences, conduct return to work interviews, and provide guidance to managers on managing sickness and lateness.
  • Handle annual leave approvals and manage leave balances and entitlements.
  • Process resignations, ensuring all final payments and deductions are accurately calculated.
  • Communicate monthly payroll changes to the Financial Controller and manage pension updates.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from updating job descriptions to onboarding new employees.
  • Manage company memberships and negotiate healthcare benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety checks and organise company events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
