The Role:
This is an entry-level position in a specialist recruitment consultancy focusing exclusively on placing top talent into the finance industry — from investment banks and hedge funds to fintech start-ups and accountancy firms. You’ll work with high-calibre clients and candidates in a professional, fast-moving environment where precision, networking, and relationship-building are key.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Proactively sourcing and headhunting finance professionals for client vacancies
- Conducting in-depth interviews to assess skills, experience, and career goals
- Writing engaging job adverts to attract high-quality candidates
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and clients
- Managing the recruitment process from first contact to job offer
- Negotiating salaries and ensuring smooth onboarding for successful placements
- Consistently hitting performance targets and earning commission on placements
What They’re Looking For:
- Recent graduate with a 2:2 or above (all degree subjects welcome)
- Strong communicator with the confidence to speak to senior professionals
- Ambitious and financially motivated, with a results-driven mindset
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Organised, detail-focused, and commercially aware
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other target-driven roles is advantageous but not essential
