Japanese speaking AWS Solutions EngineerRef: KM46567A leading Japanese IT company based in central London is seeking a AWS Solutions Engineer to support the migration and maintenance of its Treasury Management System to the cloud.The role covers a wide range of responsibilities including system requirement definition, release management, troubleshooting, infrastructure building, and migration to cloud environments. Development & Maintenance of Treasury Management System (TMS):
- Full-cycle involvement in feature design, development, and operations
- System improvement and optimization for stability
- Collaborate with the finance department to understand business requirements and define specifications
- Manage the process from design through to release
System Infrastructure and Cloud Migration:
- Build and manage environments using Windows Server and IIS
- Plan and execute migration to AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Propose and implement improvements considering performance and security
Development Tools & Automation:
- Use version control tools (e.g., Git) and task management systems to streamline development
- Plan and implement process improvement and automation
- Work in a DevOps-style environment to integrate development and operations
AWS Solutions Engineer Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in designing and building AWS architectures
- Experience managing AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in development and maintenance of financial systems
- Practical experience with SQL for queries and data extraction
- IIS and Windows Server administration experience
- Involvement in system migration or replacement projects
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) are a plus
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
