Service Desk IT Support Analyst

5 DAYS ON SITE

An IT Services company based in Canary Wharf are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking IT support analyst to join the expanding client support team service desk

You will be based in Canary Wharf and client sites in the City

The successful candidate will be expected to work at 2nd line level working within the ServiceDesk structure and on individual client/internal projects.

Service Desk Manager

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Providing 2nd line support to clients across multiple sectors.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile and telephone equipment.
  • Extensive Microsoft application support.
  • Windows server administration, backups, storage management, restores & updates.
  • Software support including management and deployment.
  • Infrastructure support, including network, Wi-Fi & LAN.
  • AV & VOIP support.
  • Co-ordinating third-party vendors and support service.
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Minimum two years commercial IT experience.
  • Experience in technical support of PC and Mac laptops and desktops.
  • A thorough understanding of general IT Products and technologies including sever and network technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows OS, Intune, SharePoint and full office suite.
  • Experience in working with IT service management, including change, incident, service improvement and problem management.
  • Excellent written, client facing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, except responsibility and work well under pressure to rigorous deadlines.
  • Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality.
