About the Role

Join a fast-growing, dynamic insurance group supporting their expanding Products Team at a Group level. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Group's key applications, primarily focusing on Acturis and riskSERVE platforms.

As an Application Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for 1st and 2nd line support, managing incidents, requests, and changes within the application stack. You'll work closely with Product Owners and wider teams to deliver BAU support as well as project-related outcomes, helping to drive service excellence across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for core business applications including triaging, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
  • Own the incident and problem management processes, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain, configure, and administer Acturis and related applications, including building and updating document templates and workflows.
  • Support application testing, QA, and the rollout of new functionality.
  • Manage user on/offboarding and access requests.
  • Work with third-party suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor ticket trends and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation such as user guides and process documentation.
  • Facilitate remote sessions with business and external stakeholders.

About You

You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience supporting Acturis within an insurance broking environment. You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are keen to learn and grow your application knowledge.

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years hands-on experience configuring Acturis, including document templates and workflow management.
  • Strong experience in incident management and providing high-quality 1st/2nd line support.
  • Familiarity with work queue tools such as Jira or similar.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools and collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with users and suppliers.
  • Experience with other insurance or broking systems is advantageous.
