A leading organisation in the financial services sector is hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a critical Data Centre decommissioning and migration project.
This hands-on role requires end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects within a structured PMO environment, collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional tech teams.
Candidates should have strong experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects, particularly data centre migrations, along with expertise in project governance and stakeholder management.
The position offers a salary range of £70k-£80k plus a package, with rates depending on experience and client requirements.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract based in Central London, with remote work options available.

We're currently working with a leading organisation in the financial services sector as they look to strengthen their technology transformation programme.

They're now hiring for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a critical Data Centre decommissioning and migration project, which forms part of a wider digital transformation. This is a hands-on project ownership role within a structured PMO environment, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional tech teams. This will be a one year FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, particularly around data centre migration and decommissioning
Develop project plans, manage risks, and ensure delivery against milestones
Lead third-party suppliers, internal technical teams, and business stakeholders
Prepare board-level reporting, maintain governance standards, and drive RAID management
Work within established frameworks (PRINCE2/Agile) and a collaborative PMO function

Experience Required:

Strong experience delivering IT infrastructure projects, ideally data centre migrations
Expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, and supplier coordination
Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 tools
Background in highly regulated or financial environments is a strong advantage

Location: Central London (Open to remote)Salary: £70k-£80k + package
