Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a leading business as a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer. The role will be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support tickets, maintaining and troubleshooting Citrix environments and resolving technical challenges.

Please note this will be a 12-18 month contract, so candidates need to be happy to commit to this and be available on a short notice period

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting 2nd and 3rd line tickets - logging, resolving or escalating where necessary
  • Ensuring tickets are resolved within a timely manner and customers are kept up to date
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining cloud based applications and infrastructure
  • Implementing new technology solutions
  • Designing and documenting disaster recovery procedures
  • Develop backup and archiving strategies

To be successful:

  • Must have strong understanding of ITIL service operation processes
  • The following IT skills are needed: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, firewall (IPS/IDS), VoIP systems, LAN/WAN Technologies
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills
  • Problem solver
  • The role is based in London with travel occasionally to the other office in North West London
